Barbara Hepworth
One of my favourite places to visit is the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden in St Ives. Run by Tate, it occupies the home and studio where the artist lived, worked and died. There’s an intimacy here that invites the visitor to sense her presence.
Henry Moore at Kew
Henry Moore: Monumental Nature brings 30 monumental sculptures by Moore to Kew Gardens. Spread across the landscape, the bronzes are not simply objects placed against a beautiful backdrop. They interrupt, frame and reshape the views around them.
Hepworth in Colour
As a regular visitor to Barbara Hepworth’s St Ives studio museum, I was keen to see Hepworth in Colour., the Courtauld Gallery’s summer 2026 exhibition. This is the first exhibition to explore colour in her sculptures and drawings, a less familiar aspect of the artist’s work.
